In partnership with VeloFemmes (http://velofemmes.wix.com/velofemmes) and with donations from Bikes for Kids and the Puyallup Watershed Initiative, Ladies First is proud to announce {WOMEN & GIRLS RIDE 2016}. This biking event is open to Ladies First members, VeloFemmes members and women & girls from the 253 community.
The purpose of this biking event is to encourage more women & girls to ride bikes for recreation, transportation, healthy lifestyle or simply to have fun.
On Saturday, May 14th we will meet on East 44th Street in Tacoma (look for the red balloons), welcome our guests, talk about our bike route for the day and then hit the road on a safe neighborhood ride. We will return at 1pm for a few celebratory snacks.

We are very grateful for Bikes for Kids and Puyallup Watershed Initiative for generously donating bikes and helmets to our members who did not have a bike. Thanks to these organizations’ willingness to remove barriers, more of us will ride together this spring!
